＜名東＞Summer School – Week 1 – Day 2
Hello everyone! 🌟
みなさん、こんにちは！
I hope you had a great day with us today! 😃
今日は一緒に楽しい時間を過ごせましたか？
In our cooking activity, we made some mini pancakes 🥞 for everyone.
今日は料理活動で、みんなのためにミニパンケーキを作りました！🥞
The younger kids helped us mix the ingredients 🥣, and our bigger kids helped us pour the batter in the pans and also flipped them over! 🔄
小さい子たちは材料を混ぜるのを手伝ってくれて、大きい子たちはバターをフライパンに注いだり、ひっくり返したりしてくれました！🔄
At first, we waited for a long time and the other side of the pancakes were almost dark brown! LOL! 😆
最初は、ひっくり返すタイミングがわからず、パンケーキの片面がほぼ焦げ茶色になるまで待ってしまいました！笑
But then, we got used to the timing and learned when to flip them. We made some good and almost perfect pancakes for everyone! (The shape was a mix of everything though! 😂)
でも、そのうちにタイミングを覚えて、上手にひっくり返せるようになりました。みんなのために美味しいパンケーキを作ることができました！形はちょっと不揃いだったけどね！😂
While half of the group was in the pancake-making room, the other half stayed in the middle room to shave their own ice for their shaved ice dessert! 🍧 Everyone tried so hard to turn the lever to make their cup of ice. Then, they chose the flavor they liked and ate together! Some students mixed the flavors and created new ones! It was so refreshing! 🌈
半分のグループがパンケーキを作っている間、もう半分のグループはかき氷部屋で自分のかき氷を削りました！🍧 みんな一生懸命にレバーを回して、自分のカップの氷を作りました。それから好きな味を選んでみんなで食べました！何人かの生徒は味を混ぜて、新しいフレーバーを作っていました！とても爽やかでした！🌈
We also went in the pool again since it was hot! We had so much fun splashing each other! 💦 Other students played with bubbles! 🫧
また、暑かったのでプールにも入りました！お互いに水をかけ合って、たくさん楽しみました！💦 他の生徒はシャボン玉で遊んでいました！🫧
After the big activities we had planned, some classes made their crafts. Toddlers made their own watermelon slices 🍉, and one of our big kids’ classrooms made moving caterpillar crafts! It was amazing! 🐛
大きな活動の後、いくつかのクラスではクラフトを作りました。幼児たちは自分のスイカのスライスを作り、大きい子たちのクラスの一つは動くイモムシのクラフトを作りました！とても素晴らしかったです！🐛
One of the younger classes used a DIY nagashisomen machine! The teacher flowed some water from the top and dropped small things to test the students’ chopstick skills! Everyone tried so hard and challenged themselves! 🥢
幼いクラスの一つは手作りの流しそうめんマシンを使いました！先生が上から水を流して、小さな物を落として生徒たちの箸の技術を試しました！みんな一生懸命に挑戦していました！🥢
We had so so much fun today at GROW! 🌱
今日はGROWでとても楽しい一日を過ごしました！🌱
Tomorrow is our WATER FIGHT DAY! 💦 Don’t forget to bring your super water guns and swimsuit! 🌊
明日は水鉄砲バトルの日です！💦 スーパー水鉄砲と水着を忘れずに持ってきてくださいね！🌊
